Time to Act campaign

Join the movement and commit to working for a just peace for all who call the Holy Land Home.

What is the Time to Act campaign?

Across Palestine and Israel, communities are living through devastating violence, loss and injustice. Palestinian Christians have called on the global Church to respond not with silence or despair, but with courage, compassion, and action. The Time to Act campaign responds to this call - mobilising individuals, churches, and communities in united action to work for a just peace for all who call the Holy Land home. The Time to Act campaign has been launched by the Just Peace Coalition, of which Embrace is a founding member.

Church of England General Synod passes historic motion in solidarity with Palestinian Christians

On Monday 13 July 2026, the Church of England General Synod passed a motion to respond to the call from Palestinian Christians for non-violent resistance to Israel’s ongoing occupation of Palestine. It is a welcome and landmark step, but it must only be the beginning.

Embrace worked alongside Christian Aid, Sabeel-Kairos UK and other members of the Just Peace Coalition, to support the Diocese of Carlisle in bringing this motion and were part of the team presenting it to Synod.
