This is a place where we can come together as Christians to support one another in prayer. Our partners frequently tell us that your prayers are a source of strength and inspiration. Christians in the Middle East love to know that people across the world are praying for them as they face the challenges of life amid conflict, poverty and injustice. Now, more than ever, your prayers matter.
Urgent Prayer Request: Today, 5 March, Israeli forces have issued immediate evacuation orders to large parts of Beirut's suburbs. Issuing a warning to 'Save your lives, evacuate your homes immediately'. The roads in Beirut are already clogged with traffic from people trying to flee, making it harder for families to get out. Some of our partners and their staff are in the evacuation zones. Please pray for them and for all affected.
As conflict in the region escalates, we cry out in prayer
We watch with dismay and anguish as violence once again escalates in the region. We ask you to join is in prayer. The Most Revd Hosam, Bishop of Jerusalem and the Middle East has also released a statement, which you can read in full here.
Our partners are directly affected by the latest escalation of conflict in the region. They are already responding to the urgent needs. Please give what you can to our Emergency Appeal.
