OUR SUPPORTER EXPERIENCE TEAM

Every day is different in the Supporter Experience team at Embrace the Middle East, but the one thing that remains unchanging is our passion to look after you, our loyal and faithful supporters.

Our friendly Supporter Experience team – Lauren, Natalie, Sam and Victoria – are on hand to help you. Whether you want to let us know you have changed your address, make a donation, or just need to ask us a question, we love to hear from you. And we always love to hear your news, views, and your stories.

OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

CEO: JAMIE EYRE

I joined Embrace in 2013 to lead our programmes and partnerships, after working with international NGOs in Afghanistan, Sudan, and Somalia amongst others. I stepped into the CEO role in July 2024, and it is my privilege to lead a dedicated and talented staff team as we partner with local Christian organisations in the Middle East. We are inspired by our partners’ courage, their integrity and their hopeful response to our shared Christian calling to serve the most marginalised and excluded with generosity.

DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING: IAN LIVETT

I have worked in fundraising and marketing all my professional life including 15+ years with various faith-based community and international development causes. I joined Embrace in 2022 and lead our fundraising programme. Embrace supporters have been standing in solidarity with Christians in the Middle East through prayer, giving and action for 170 years and I feel privileged to share in their story.

DIRECTOR OF SHARED SERVICES: SAM MACKWELL

I’m responsible for a range of shared services within the organisation, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of key data and information. Before joining Embrace, I ran IT systems and provided data insights for 15 years in a range of industries.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMMES, PARTNERSHIPS & ADVOCACY: DR RUTH VALERIO

I have been active for many years in the areas of poverty and environmental breakdown, working with A Rocha UK and Tearfund, and am delighted to be working with Embrace the Middle East as we support Middle East Christians to tackle poverty and injustice in some of the most marginalised and vulnerable communities. I joined Embrace in August 2024 and oversee all the programmes, partnerships and advocacy work of the organisation. It is a privilege to be connected with the Church in the Middle East, to learn from them and be able to support them.
