Time to Act responds to this call - mobilising individuals, churches, and communities in united action to work for a just peace for all who call the Holy Land home.
Childhood Behind Bars - Stop military detention of Palestinian Children
Call on the UK Government to urge Israel to end the practice of military detention and the use of inhumane tactics - including night arrests, hand ties and blindfolds - against Palestinian children in the West Bank.
Stop Trade with Settlements - End UK complicity in Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territory
By allowing trade with Israeli settlements in the West Bank, the UK government is complicit in the maintenance and expansion of illegal Israeli settlements and thus in sustaining Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territory.
The Olive Tree Project - Protect Palestinian land from seizure
In the occupied West Bank, land is being seized from Palestinian farmers at an unprecedented rate. Cultivated land is harder to seize, so planting new olive trees is a direct and peaceful way to help Palestinians defend their land and maintain an important source of income.

Embrace’s UPR report on Syria
In June, Embrace submitted a report for the UN’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR). This represents an opportunity to ensure that the voices of our partners in Syria are heard by both the UK government and Syria’s transitional authorities. The UPR is a UN process that reviews a country’s human rights record and allows other states, including the UK, to recommend changes. Our report raises urgent concerns, including the need for an inclusive constitutional process, better protection for religious and ethnic minorities, affordable access to basic goods and services, and stronger protection for women’s rights.
