A PRAYER FOR THE LATE QUEEN

Almighty God,
The one whom is endless love, who is overall and in all.
You are the creator of all life.
We give you thanks for your servant, Queen Elizabeth II, to whom you granted a long and fulfilling life, and for her unwavering sense of duty to this nation.
Shine upon her your grace and the light of your heavenly company.
Grant that she may be wrapped in your loving presence in your eternal kingdom.
Through Christ who is our Lord, who reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

God of power,
The giver of wisdom and counsel, we give you thanks for King Charles III as he takes on the duty of reigning monarch. Grant to him, your servant His Majesty King Charles, wisdom, counsel, understanding, and patience, so that in his work her may always do the your will. Bless those entrusted to his leadership and care.
