WHAT’S ON - EXPLORE OUR GREENBELT PROGRAMME
Our programme at Greenbelt this year honours difference, and at the same time, creates space for working through difficult conversations graciously, nurturing understanding and seeking ways in which we can all speak out against injustice and be instruments of God’s peace in our troubled world.
We’re delighted to have Embrace partners Daniel Munayer (Executive Director of Musalaha) and Muhanad Al Qaisy (director of the Olive Tree Project), along with Nitano Muller (Residentiary Canon at Coventry Cathedral) as part of our festival lineup.

What does it mean to speak truth in the midst of conflict and to seek justice that leads to real peace?
This conversation brings together three Palestinian voices, Muhanad Al Qaisy from the West Bank, Daniel Munayer from Jerusalem and Lamma Mansour from Nazareth, in dialogue with Canon Nitano Muller, a priest from South Africa shaped by the final years of apartheid and its aftermath.

How do we stay in conversation when the stakes are high, emotions are strong, and disagreement runs deep?
This workshop, led jointly by Embrace the Middle East and Coventry Cathedral, invites participants to explore the practice of gracious dialogue as a way of holding difference without stepping back from the call to justice.

Embrace’s Dr Ruth Valerio launches her new book at Greenbelt.
Come and hear how we sustain hope, rebuff cynicism and keep working for justice and ecological flourishing in a world that can overwhelm us with its heartbreak and divisions.

Ever wondered what life is really like for young people in Palestine?
This session gives younger teenagers the chance to meet Daniel and Muhanad, hear personal stories, ask questions, and explore what it means to live under the shadow of occupation.

Twin Your Christmas Tree with a Palestinian Olive Tree
We’re delighted to be launching our Olive Tree Twinning initiative at Greenbelt this year.
From £40, you can support Palestinian olive farmers in protecting their land and livelihoods. You’ll receive a personalised twinning certificate, followed by a tree planting certificate the summer after your tree is planted.
