As the Israel-Hezbollah conflict escalates, thousands of families in Lebanon and northern Israel are being forced to flee from their homes. Many in Lebanon were already struggling to make ends meet: the country’s acute economic crisis has seen mass unemployment, wages plummet, and poverty rates triple in the last 10 years.
Already host to over a million refugees, our partners across Lebanon are working hard to support many displaced families. The emergency supplies they have been distributing – such as food, winter essentials, fuel and hygiene kits – are a lifeline for many. Now, with many more families cut off from their homes and belongings, our partners scaling up their support and reach more people.
