A Prayer in response to the escalating violence between Israel and Iran

As violence escalates between Israel and Iran, please join us in prayer for peace in the Middle East. We pray for an end to the bloodshed. We pray for compassion, mercy and restraint.

Loving God,

We grieve this morning as we once again witness the escalation of violence in the Middle East.

We pray for wisdom and restraint among world leaders and decision makers, that they would turn from the path of violence and move towards peace.

We pray for those caught in the middle of the violence. Would you keep them safe in the coming hours and days.

We pray for the safety of our partners in Israel, Palestine and across the region. Protect them as they continue to serve in the midst of uncertainty.

We pray that the cycle of violence would be broken and that your reign of justice and peace would come.
