LAND FULL OF GOD WEBINAR: COURSE MATERIAL

From 25 October to 15 November 2022 Embrace, in partnership with Church for Middle East Peace, hosted an online mini-series exploring ways in which Christians can promote peace and justice in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

If you missed any of the webinars in our 4-part series or would like to watch them again, you can do so here.

WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

A Land Full of God offers Christians an opportunity to promote peace and justice in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It helps us to understand the enmity embedded in the conflict and its history with brief, digestible, and comprehensive essays about the historical, political, religious, and geographical tensions that have led to many of the dynamics we see today. A Land Full of God walks its readers through a biblical perspective of God’s heart for Israel and the historic suffering of the Jewish people, while remaining sensitive to the experience and suffering of Palestinians.

This series aims to do the same but in a webinar format. Many of our speakers contributed essays to the book. Taken together our essayists reveal a range of Christian voices seeking a pro-Israeli, pro-Palestinian, pro-peace, pro-justice, pro-human rights approach to bringing about a resolution to the conflict.

SESSION 1: AN INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN ENGAGEMENT IN THE HOLY LAND

SESSION 2: CHRISTIAN ZIONISM & THEOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS

SESSION 3: GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE & THE FAMILY OF ABRAHAM
