Write to your MP now to support our Advent Not Arms campaign

On Monday 16 December, we will hand in our Advent Not Arms petition, ahead of a debate in Parliament on arms sales to Israel that is taking place in the afternoon.

The campaign will have more impact if MPs hear directly from their constituents on the issue. Please write to your MP before Monday’s debate to call for the UK Government to suspend arms sales to Israel and push further to secure a ceasefire. Even if you have already written to your MP to call for a ceasefire in the past, we urge you to do so again.

From our conversations with MPs, we know they are getting fewer letters on this issue (and some MPs newly elected in July say they have not heard much at all from their constituents). The situation in Gaza is catastrophic and we must not let the eyes of the world turn away from what is happening. We ask you to stand with us and be steadfast in this call. Thank you.
